​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting an exciting energy transition scale-up at a pivotal point in their global expansion to identify a Finance Director, which could turn into a CFO. Salary £90-120k + 25% bonus + profit participation. This role will allow you to grow and create your own team.

They are looking for someone to drive the set-up of the financial department.

The role:

• Responsible for the set-up and day-to-day management of the financial processes, procedures, and systems for the entities of the Group operating in the UK

• Set-up and manage its own team

• Manage Board of Directors

• Support the integration of accounting and management reporting tools

• Set-up and maintain the UK accounting system records

• Facilitate the group consolidation process

• Set-up and manage UK group planning and control procedures, setting up the business plan, budget, monthly reporting and forecasting at UK group level

• Manage, control and optimise the UK companies cashflows

• Manage the day-to-day relationships with banks

• Insurance, Tax, HR, auditing, payroll

• With the support of our Financial Modellers, design and set-up the financial modelling for renewable energy assets

• support with Project Finance
  

The individual:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)

• Sector experience

• Experience in debt management is desired but not essential.
