The Role

As a Finance and Asset Manager the individual would be responsible for a number of activites that include but are not limited to:

 

  • Managing the Master Services Agreement (MSA) between the Company, and the c.400MW Solar PV Portfolio’s project SPV for the provision of asset management Services, ensuring that the Services are performed in compliance with the terms of the contract and the deliverables are timely and in accordance with contractual requirements.

  • Preparing a quarterly monitoring package for shareholders, which shall include technical & operational performance of the portfolio, financial performance, health & safety report etc.

  •  Managing loan compliance, ensuring compliance with the facility agreements, constantly communicating with the facility agent and ensuring completion of scheduled debt repayments, and managing waiver negotiations with lenders.

  • Supervision of O&M and Asset Management contractors and any other contractor or direct subcontractor (as the case maybe), in addition to reviewing weekly and monthly operational reports from the said contractors, ensuring Services performed are compliant with the terms of the contractual agreements and reports are timely and in accordance with contractual requirements .

  • CAPEX control and monitoring in line with the business plan, including Punch List costs disbursement optimization and spare part stock management.

  • Management and supervision of interests, swaps, cash pooling transfers and principal repayments according to the facility agreement in place, coordinating the finance team and verify the compliance with the deadlines.

The Individual

  • The successful applicant will be experienced within the energy and financial sector with a degree qualification in a relavant discipline (Finance/accounting/economics).

  • Experience working with finance and asset management  with a sound knowledge of the applicable UK Laws , regulations and rules in relation to renewable energy.

  • Dynamic and self motivated , with experience working under pressure 

  • Good understanding of finance and working with International teams.
