Job description

The Client:

Our client is a reputable multinational with a strong prior track record in energy storage are looking to add an additional Field Service Engineer to their German team.

 

The company is an industry leader in the sector. The company are happy to provide training for their technology.

 

The Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Providing customer support on site, the CRM and over the phone
  • Work in close contact with our Product Manager
  • Making sure every call is documented 
  • Solving technical issues based on RTmon/monitoring permission level
  • Providing technical (& advanced) trainings to installers
  • Travelling to sites
    • Fixing/replacing/installing internal cards
    • Fixing/replacing/installing inverters
    • Fixing/replacing/installing optimizers
    • Fixing/installing communication
    • Fixing/installing accessories (CCG/sensors/meters/etc.) o Reporting back o Inventory counts
  • Make sure every FA/RCA unit case is returned
    • Work with regional logistic manager
  • Manage service partner network landscape

The Individual:

Education:

  • Technical engineering background
    • Electrical engineering preferred

 

- Experience:

  • As Field Service Engineer - minimum 2 years
  • Support centre environment- minimum 2 years
    • Energy storage preferred
    • PV industry- advantage

- Skills:

  • Willingness for national travel.
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Self-contained and self-organized working style
  • Working in heights license
  • Profound technical knowledge
  • Full drivers license

  • Fluent spoken and written German and English
