This 12-month contract offers an hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, tailored to your level of expertise in the field of renewable energy.

About the Role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and optimization of large-scale solar PV installations in the Buffalo area. This position involves hands-on technical work, requiring a proactive approach to system troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer support. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems to ensure they operate at maximum efficiency.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, providing quick and sustainable solutions.

• Monitor system performance and implement strategies for improvement.

• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, creating comprehensive reports on system status.

• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to enhance site operations and service delivery.

• Provide expert technical support and advice to clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and system reliability.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Field Service Engineer, with specific experience in solar or renewable energy systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on practical and efficient solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with clients and team members.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in various environments and adapt to changing conditions.

• Technical degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related field.
