​Field Service Engineer - Solar PV & BESS Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) within a dynamic Renewable Energy Asset Management Company.

Location: Virginia

Contract Duration: 12 months

Hourly Rate: $35-$45 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of Solar PV and BESS infrastructure.

  • Performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues.

  • Regularly reporting project progress and maintaining accurate service records.

  • Complying with all health and safety standards in the field.

  • Offering technical support and advice to clients and team members.

  • Working collaboratively with project managers and engineering teams for successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer role, with a preference for experience in the renewable energy sector.

  • Strong technical understanding of Solar PV and BESS technologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities.

  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.

  • Relevant technical qualifications or industry certifications.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Virginia.

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
