The Client 

Our client is a provider of power optimizer, solar inverter and monitoring solutions for photovoltaic arrays. These products aim to increase energy output through module-level Maximum Power Point Tracking. The business have over 100 million Solar Inverters installed globally. Due to further growth the Service and Support team is looking for an additional Technical Support Engineer / Field Service Engineer to be based near Montpellier to provide expert troubolushooting and issue resoltion solutions across and installation network. 

Responsibilities:

  • Providing customer support on site, the CRM and over the phone.
  • Making sure every call is documented
  • Solving technical issues based on RTmon/monitoring permission level
  • Providing technical (& advanced) trainings to installers
  • Travelling to sites
  • Fixing/replacing/installing inverters
  • Fixing/replacing/installing internal cards
  • Fixing/replacing/installing optimizers
  • Fixing/installing communication
  • Fixing/installing accessories (CCG/sensors/meters/etc.)
  • Reporting back
  • Inventory counts
  • Make sure every FA/RCA unit case is returned
  • Work with regional logistic manager
  • Manage service partner network landscape

Education:

  • Technical engineering background

Experience:

  • As FSE - minimum 2 years
  • Support centre environment- minimum 2 years
  • PV industry- advantage

Skills:
