EV Sales and Business Development Manager

Location: Remote(must be residing in California)

Salary: $110,000+ (with commission structure)


About This Role

Your responsibility in this role will support offline growth, with the main duty of establishing partnerships with dealerships, car OEMs, retailers, distributors, and other B2B customers. We are seeking an accomplished, proactive, and data-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record of EV charger, renewables, or automotive sales. Our goal is to find an individual who has a strong sales background working toward something meaningful.

You will leverage your industry contacts and networking acumen to expand our offline footprint through persistent contact with retailers, distributors, dealerships, and more.

About You

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience building and maintaining critical business partnerships, relationships, and implementing business development and sales strategies.

  • Previous experience in the automotive, EV industry, or renewables industry.

  • Business acumen, numerical sense, and are an energetic, supportive, independent self-starter

You Will

  • Develop data-driven goals and plans for the business development team, and create solid strategies to ensure the goals are met

  • Research prospective customers for the client's product line in North America

  • Pursue leads, arrange meetings, and create quotes and proposals with potential clients

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings in North America (e.g. SEMA and CES in Las Vegas)

  • Develop EV charging specific product knowledge to advise potential customers

  • Build and oversee business development team in the US
