Great opportunity to lead on system engineering activities on behalf of a major international PV developer.

The Opportunity:

• Support the development of worldwide projects with technical expertise from the conceptual phase to operation
• Technical leadership of a group of Systems Engineers from the System Design team and coordination with Electrical Systems engineering teams
• Supporting and developing Systems Engineers in their daily tasks 
• Interfacing with Business Development teams responsible for project origination in specific markets
• Interfacing also with project management group and other departments and teams in order to assure engineering designs allow the best possible enterprise value, meet the project timelines, our own, international and local project standards and contractual requirements
• Aggregating, managing and producing documentation and information for different design stages and for management, clients, lenders and advisers

The Individual:

• Academic degree in electrical or civil engineering, renewable energies or related fields of study
• >5 years of experience and knowledgeable in the above-mentioned field of activity, preferably with a focus on ground mounted PV systems
• Deep understanding of PV power plant design fundamentals & good understanding of financial modelling aspects
• First-hand experience in leading a team of engineers
• Proactive team player with a high degree of self-management, assertiveness and dedication to the task at hand
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Competent use of MS Office applications, document management systems and professional software solutions such as PVsyst, Helios3D
• Languages: English is the day-to-day working language. Knowledge in German or any other language will be helpful
