  • Quality Assurance: Review and validate third-party project deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal standards.

  • Value Engineering: Work with the development team to apply value engineering principles, optimizing costs while upholding high-quality standards.

  • Technical Expertise: Serve as the team’s in-house subject matter expert (SME) for energy engineering, offering insights and guidance on technical solutions.

  • Standards Development: Develop and implement best practices and guidelines for consistent project development and performance tracking.

  • Field Work & Innovation: Participate in fieldwork related to pilot projects, R&D, and innovation to maintain technical leadership and improve solution offerings.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and company goals.

Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of energy savings calculations for mechanical systems, including HVAC, central plants, compressors, and industrial processes.

  • Proficiency in Measurement and Verification (M&V) protocols.

  • Experience with RFP processes and scope refinement.

  • Familiarity with ASHRAE design and audit standards; energy auditing experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.

  • Willingness to travel for site work as needed.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required with Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in engineering roles.

  • 6–7+ years of experience in project management or quality assurance, ideally within energy efficiency, technology, or construction.

  • Experience in construction management and procurement is a plus.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credential are preferred.
