​Engineering Geologist | Renewable Energy & Infrastructure | London

TGRC is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Geologist to join our team on a diverse range of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This position is based in London and offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to contribute to sustainable project development.

Compensation: £55 per hour

Job Description

As an Engineering Geologist with our team, you will be instrumental in assessing geological factors for project feasibility and safety. Your main duties will include:

• Geological Mapping and Sampling: Conduct field studies to collect rock and soil samples and create detailed geological maps.

• Site Investigation: Plan and execute site investigations, including drilling and earthwork examinations.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze geological data using specialized software and compile reports to inform design and construction decisions.

• Risk Assessment: Identify geotechnical risks associated with project sites and suggest appropriate mitigation measures.

• Project Collaboration: Work closely with geotechnical engineers, environmental scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure that geological considerations are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all geological work complies with relevant environmental laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience as an Engineering Geologist, preferably within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.

• Proficiency in GIS and geological modeling software.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
