The Client:

TGRC are working alongside a global energy firm that generates, trades and markets power on a large scale. The business procures, stores, transports and supplies commodities including nat gas, LNG and coal, alongside energy-related products. The business operates in more than 40 countries with around 40 GW of generation capacity and is one of the leading names in the energy industry globally.  

The Role:

The ETRM Support Analyst will support in the production operation of strategic ETRM systems. The successful applicant will be working as a member of the Endur support team within Trading IT on all Endur systems in use.

• Render production support and proactive maintenance for strategic ETRM platforms
• Facilitate business satisfaction by providing sound and mature production operation
• Work closely with other internal support teams, external partners and product vendors to form good working relationships with regards to operational matters
• Build and maintain good working relationships at different levels with business users and other stakeholders of the Endur systems
• Engage actively in, arrange, prepare and conduct stand-up and operational meetings
• Willing to engage in hands-on shift work also at night times
• Provide production status, progress of issue resolution and problem management to stakeholders
• Participate in handovers of change teams (business as usual, small enhancements and projects) to assure that operational enablement is properly executed
• Engage in continuous improvement processes / operational excellence matters for stable production operation and sound issue and problem resolution processes
• Foster proactive maintenance, health checks and quality controls for stable production operation

The Individual:

• Relevant degree or equivalent
• Good Java programming skills
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills: chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, presenting to stakeholders with strong service and customer focus
• Operational experience of working in an Energy Trading environment in application / IT production support is desirable
• Knowledge of energy trading business & related trade life cycle processes is desirable
• Knowledge of ETRM’s like Endur, information flows, data structures and functionalities like Deal Capture, Risk Management, Settlements, Confirmations is desirable
• Experience in working in international multi-cultural/country/company environments involving global delivery teams desirable
• Work experience with ODC’s (Indian offshore development companies) desirable
