This organization is a market leader in developing and operating renewable energy projects across the United States, with a growing portfolio of energy storage assets. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of engineers in an agile environment, contributing to the success of large-scale projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative setting that values inclusivity, collaboration, and professional growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and reliability of energy storage assets. You will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout project development, assisting with contract negotiations, technical due diligence, and design optimization. Additionally, you will manage a technical resource library to support supplier evaluations and provide recommendations on system sizing and design.

Your expertise will also be essential in supporting teams across development, origination, financing, and insurance by preparing and reviewing technical specifications, including RFP submissions. Furthermore, you will play a key role in land-use planning, assisting with operational requirements and performance testing to ensure project success.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.

  • Candidates with a passion for optimization and proven experience in large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) within the renewable energy sector will thrive in this role.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functional teams and experience in multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive compensation package offered, including a year-end bonus, health benefits, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, and additional family and wellness benefits.
