BESS Applications/Electrical Engineer

• Responsible for the development, review, and technical oversight of all engineering and design of energy storage proposals
• Review customer’s RFP documents
• Develop and/or review System designs, Single Lines, Layouts, Containerization, Performance guarantees, Availability guarantees, etc.
• Collaborate with the other team members in the preparation and coordination of proposals, RFIs, and other marketing efforts
• Maintain knowledge of applicable codes & standards and certifications in the Energy Storage industry
• Expect 20-25% travel

Experience & Competencies:

• Must have hands-on technical experience with Utility scale Energy Storage Systems
• Must have a sound understanding of the technical, performance, and integration of Li-Ion batteries as part of ESS
• Must have a sound understanding of Li-Ion battery technology, degradation, packaging, and how it fits in grid connected storage projects

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Electrical or Mechanical; and approximately 2-5 plus years of relevant experience
