​The Opportunity:

A renewables investment fund are seeking an electrical design engineer to join the technical team and support the projects throughout the entire lifecycle – from Development, to Construction and finally in Operation.

The Role:

• Assist development teams by performing preliminary layout studies, energy yield assessments, review of grid connection documents, review of permitting documentation and studies performed by third parties, project optimization, and produce engineering deliverables for permitting (environmental, electrical or municipality).

• Work closely with the Procurement department for EPC/BoP contracts, by preparing the RFP’s technical specifications, evaluating the technical offers received and by reviewing the technical annexes in the agreements

• Technical support to Construction department by reviewing all technical designs, calculations and engineering studies (electrical, automation, security, etc.) produced by contractors.

• Provide technical support during installation, testing and commissioning. Liaise with Owner’s Engineer and other technical advisory entities.

• Assist asset management team with technical expertise

• Develop documents and tools to optimize department’s procedures.

The Individual:

• Higher Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar electrical discipline

• At least 2 years of experience, with a track record as an Electrical Design Engineer in Renewable Energy projects

• Experience in utility scale Renewable Energy projects of Solar and/or Wind

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office

• Advanced skills in CAD (AutoCAD is used) as well solar software PVSyst and PV Case

• Business and technical language fluency in Portuguese, good English skills
