​Job Title: Electrical Engineer (Offshore) - 12 Months Contract Location: United Kingdom Industry: Renewable Energy

TGRC is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Offshore) on behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This is a 12-month contract role with competitive day rates, requiring offshore certifications and past experience working with Siemens.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and implement electrical systems for offshore renewable energy projects, particularly in relation to Siemens equipment

  • Review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements

  • Conduct onsite testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the offshore installation, operations, and maintenance teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any electrical engineering issues and develop innovative solutions

  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of [number] years of experience in offshore electrical engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector

  • Past experience working with Siemens equipment is essential

  • Valid offshore certifications, such as BOSIET, FOET, or GWO

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and safety regulations in an offshore environment

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required

  • Flexibility to travel to offshore locations as needed
