​TGRC has partnered with a leading European IPP to search an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their offices in Madrid.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the electrical design and commissioning of utility scale renewable energy plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and design the preliminary technical due diligence of the projects.

• Evaluate project constraints and design optimal project layouts utilizing GIS software in order to maximize project value.

• Analyze available meteorological datasets, and establish opinion of long-term resource characteristics at multiple project sites

• Support pre-construction efforts by maintaining project site plans.

• Conduct site visits to support site evaluation and participate in landowner meetings, community outreach events, and construction meetings.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering in the renewable energy sector.

• Proven experience designing the electrical layout of utility scale plants.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• A degree in electrical engineering, or a related field.

• Ability to sign projects.
