We are currently working on behalf of a prestigious Renewable Energy Developer, who is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in Dublin.

Role Overview: As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and construction of Offshore Wind Substation projects. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop electrical design solutions for Offshore Substations.

• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to ensure the efficiency and safety of electrical systems.

• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for offshore wind projects.

• Evaluate and select appropriate equipment and components to be used in the electrical design.

• Oversee the implementation and installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any design-related challenges.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in electrical design for renewable energy projects, preferably in the offshore wind sector.

• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and guidelines.

• Proficiency in using CAD software and other design tools.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical problems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Location: Dublin

Contract Duration: 18 months

Compensation: €500 per day
