Job description

​TGRC is excited to have partnered with one of the largest banks headquartered in Asia, in search of a Director/Executive Director, Structured Finance for their rapidly expanding Singapore team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for structured finance transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, and structured lending.

  • Lead the structuring and negotiation of complex financing solutions tailored to meet the needs of clients and investors.

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk analysis to assess the viability and creditworthiness of potential transactions.

  • Perform thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for structured finance transactions, including financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.

  • Develop and present credit proposals to internal credit committees, highlighting key risks, mitigants, and recommended risk ratings.

  • Monitor the ongoing performance and credit quality of structured finance portfolios, taking proactive measures to address potential risks and issues.

  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in the structured finance industry.

  • Conduct market research and due diligence on target sectors and industries to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging risks.

  • Leverage industry knowledge and expertise to develop innovative financing structures and solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and investors.

Expectations:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a proven track record of originating and executing complex transactions within infrastructure, new energies and renewables.

  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, credit analysis, and structuring of debt and equity financing solutions.

  • Excellent understanding of capital markets, financing techniques, and legal documentation related to structured finance transactions.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.

  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing risks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.

  • Team player with strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
