Job description
TGRC is excited to have partnered with one of the largest banks headquartered in Asia, in search of a Director/Executive Director, Structured Finance for their rapidly expanding Singapore team.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities for structured finance transactions, including project finance, acquisition finance, and structured lending.
Lead the structuring and negotiation of complex financing solutions tailored to meet the needs of clients and investors.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence and risk analysis to assess the viability and creditworthiness of potential transactions.
Perform thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for structured finance transactions, including financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing.
Develop and present credit proposals to internal credit committees, highlighting key risks, mitigants, and recommended risk ratings.
Monitor the ongoing performance and credit quality of structured finance portfolios, taking proactive measures to address potential risks and issues.
Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape in the structured finance industry.
Conduct market research and due diligence on target sectors and industries to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging risks.
Leverage industry knowledge and expertise to develop innovative financing structures and solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients and investors.
Expectations:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.
Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a proven track record of originating and executing complex transactions within infrastructure, new energies and renewables.
Strong expertise in financial modelling, credit analysis, and structuring of debt and equity financing solutions.
Excellent understanding of capital markets, financing techniques, and legal documentation related to structured finance transactions.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing risks effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
Team player with strong leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
