Job title: Director of Project Operations
Location: Texas, United States (On-site)
TGRC has an exciting new opportunity for a Director of Project Operations working in the renewable industry in the US.
The client is a low-carbon biomass-to-energy company that integrates sustainable carbon-efficient conversion technologies, leveraging carbon sequestration to produce meaningful emission reductions for hard-to-abate industries.
Essential Duties
Day-to-day supervision of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Moreover, ensuring that the program/project meets all Owner standards
In addition, initiate a Project for the Owner
Furthermore, you will oversee Project Management Planning (Development of Projects)
Cost, Scope, Schedule, Project Management Plan
In addition, oversee the Monitoring and Controlling of Project Work
Oversee the Closure of the Project together with Risk Management
Manage Engineering Support Services contractors
Furthermore, working with and supporting the Business Development team
Work with and Support Technology Development together with Process Engineering
Moreover, the office Health & Safety Liaison
In addition, manage the Procurement Department
Provide Financial reporting on departments and projects to the CTO/COO
Lastly, assist in Technology Evaluations – Engineering and Project focus
Education
BS in Engineering
AACE, PMP or equivalent Training
Experience
10 years experience as a project manager (multiple projects)
In addition, have experience managing people/department
Heavy Construction (Projects over $1 billion)
Additionally, you will know the (Renewable) Energy industry - Preferable Biomass
Furthermore, the ability to work with all levels of site personnel
DOE / DOD Project Experience
