​Job title: Director of Origination and Structured Finance

Location: Singapore, Singapore (On-site)

The Green Recruitment Company are working on a great new opportunity for an Associate Director - Structured Finance & Origination, for a leading financial institution in Singapore.

With a strong track record of financing renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the entire APAC market, they're looking for someone to join the team to play a key role in the origination and structuring of project finance loans across Asia Pacific and further cement their support of the energy transition.

Your role

• Develop relationships and build a network of clients, advisors and other banks to support the origination of new business opportunities and deal execution

• Run the screening and end-to-end due diligence and credit approval process for new transactions.

• Participate in the negotiation of client mandates, advisor appointments and financing documentation.

• Assist with identification and entry into new markets and sectors.

Your background

• Degree qualified ideally in Finance, Engineering or Economics

• Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar role or other relatable experience

• Working knowledge of the financing and development of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

• Experienced project finance modelling and debt sizing capabilities

• Client-focused with a commercial mindset, combined with a balanced approach to credit risk matters.

• Focused team player who enjoys working together to ensure the successful delivery of projects
