Director of Government & Corporate Affairs
Job description
We are looking for a senior leader to oversee our customers' operations in Colombia, manage government relations, HR, and administration, and serve as the primary liaison with headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Lead government relations and maintain strong partnerships with Colombian authorities.
Oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with Colombian labor laws and supporting cross‑cultural team integration.
Manage office administration, logistics, and crisis response.
Support project development, financing, construction, and operations teams with local coordination.
Report regularly to headquarters on business environment, compliance, and key risks.
Qualifications:
Fluent Chinese speaker with strong communication skills for coordination with HQ.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Administration, IR, HR, Business, or related fields.
5+ years of work and life experience in Colombia, with a deep understanding of local culture and regulatory environment.
Proven experience working with Colombian government agencies and state‑owned enterprises.
Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and HR practices.
Experience managing overseas offices and multicultural teams.
