Director of Government & Corporate Affairs

Job description

​We are looking for a senior leader to oversee our customers' operations in Colombia, manage government relations, HR, and administration, and serve as the primary liaison with headquarters.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead government relations and maintain strong partnerships with Colombian authorities.

  • Oversee HR operations, ensuring compliance with Colombian labor laws and supporting cross‑cultural team integration.

  • Manage office administration, logistics, and crisis response.

  • Support project development, financing, construction, and operations teams with local coordination.

  • Report regularly to headquarters on business environment, compliance, and key risks.

Qualifications:
  • Fluent Chinese speaker with strong communication skills for coordination with HQ.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Administration, IR, HR, Business, or related fields.

  • 5+ years of work and life experience in Colombia, with a deep understanding of local culture and regulatory environment.

  • Proven experience working with Colombian government agencies and state‑owned enterprises.

  • Strong knowledge of Colombian labor laws and HR practices.

  • Experience managing overseas offices and multicultural teams.
