Job description
The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a Global Renewable Energy Software business.
The recently acquired scale-up are providing a one-stop-shop for stakeholders to use cleaner energy by providing an innovative operating system.
Our client has recently experienced rapid growth and are now looking to bring in a Product Manager who will play a critical role in the team, being responsible for owning and shaping the delivery of key products and playing a part in all aspects of the product life cycle.
This Individual will be joining the existing London-based team, who work in a dynamic, start-up environment.
The Role
- Coordinating and executing client and business needs
- Managing product prioritization, production, mapping, and execution with the design and tech teams
- Develop and take responsibility for the strategic roadmap
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs effectively
- Measuring performance using systems, tools, and techniques
- Reporting to management as required
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting risk management
- Generating documentation for new and existing products, considering roadmap, execution timeline, and resources
- Increasing the understanding of agile practices and new technologies internally
- Champion the use of each product
- Not responsible for making technical product decisions, but ensuring decisions are made and understood between departments
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Product Manager role, managing all stages of the digital product life cycle
- Relevant stakeholder management experience
- Experience with cross-functional teamwork to accomplish common goals
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
- An understanding of technologies used in products (Javascript; Typescript; Node; React; AWS).
Desirables:
- Past experience using product management tools including Asana and Linear
- Use of documentation tools (E.g., Notion)
