Development & Asset Manager

​The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be supporting our Client, a specialist in the investment, development and asset management of energy projects.

Our Client seek a new Development and Asset Manager to support the growth of their dynamic team as they expand in their mission to deliver energy efficiency projects and decentralised energy generations assets.

The ideal candidate will support the development management team, providing excellent service to the projects and clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the development of energy assets on behalf of our clients;

  • Implementing best practice development management across the projects / portfolios;

  • Establishing / refining systems and processes to improve commercial and technical oversight of projects, performance monitoring and stakeholder reporting (both internal and external);

  • Creating Development Management approaches suitable to a variety of project sizes and types (Energy Investment / Renewables / Energy Efficiency / Distributed Energy Network ESCo / Real Estate ESCo / Real Estate Energy Management). In each case the Development Management approach will be focused on delivering value in support of the asset and the relevant client’s core business goals;

  • Setting, managing and controlling budgets for projects. Working with Directors to inform the Business Plans and allocate or procure resources appropriately;

  • Ensuring compliance across the portfolios with project contracts, HSE, regulation and policy;

  • Monitoring and reporting asset performance and implementing strategies for improvement of performance and mitigation of risks;

  • Management and creation of accurate and timely stakeholder reporting, including reporting to clients, investors, lenders and internal stakeholders;

  • Support specific Asset Management roles as required;

  • Engaging with clients at a range of levels in order to:

  • Understand and support client business goals.

  • Develop strong relationships with key client staff.

  • Secure new Development and Asset Management engagements, with both existing and new clients.

  • Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and technological innovation, ensuring this knowledge is cascaded to the team.

In addition to the specific requirements listed above, there will be opportunities to input into the development of a wide range of new projects in decentralised energy and net zero infrastructure, and an opportunity to help grow the business
