​Overview:

The Green Recruitment Company is glad to be partnering with a growing Commercial & Industrial Solar company in the hiring of a Senior Solar Engineer.

As an ambitious and driven Solar Engineer, you will be joining a collaborative team, maintaining high standards to ensure the best quality installations. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to design the best systems for your customers while leading, developing and coaching a team of 5 engineers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare approval drawings, IFC drawings and As-Built documentation for commercial systems

• Analyse data and find solutions and reduce energy consumption

• Prepare Grid Applications and liaise with DNSP for approval

• Stakeholders management

• Train and Mentor Jr engineers

• Prepare BOQs and work orders

The successful candidate will have

• 4+ years of relevant experience

• Ability to interpret architectural drawings

• High attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

• Takes initiative, is self-motivated, and able to work independently.

• Familiar with Australian Standards 3000, 4777, 5033

• CEC Accreditation

• Capable of multi-tasking and managing more than one project at a time.

• Ability to work within a team and to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
