Our client, a leading Chinese renewable energy Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company operating in Uzbekistan, is seeking a skilled and motivated Design Manager to join their dynamic team. As the Design Manager for Solar PV, you will play a key role in driving the design and engineering aspects of solar PV projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the solar PV design team, providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and review project design requirements, including technical specifications and system layouts.

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal solar PV system configurations.

• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the design and engineering of solar PV projects.

• Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications.

• Evaluate and select appropriate solar PV components, equipment, and materials.

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address design-related issues and provide effective solutions.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in solar PV technology and design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

• Proven experience (3 years) in solar PV design, preferably in an EPC environment.

• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, components, and design principles.

• Proficiency in solar PV design software and tools.

• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV projects.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.

• Willingness to be based in Uzbekistan and travel as required.
