Responsibilities: As a Data Scientist specializing in renewable energy, you will be responsible for leveraging data and advanced analytics techniques to extract valuable insights and drive impactful decision-making. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing statistical models and algorithms to analyze renewable energy data and extract meaningful insights.

• Collaborating with domain experts to understand business objectives and develop data-driven strategies to optimize energy generation, efficiency, and forecasting.

• Conducting exploratory data analysis and data visualization to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in large-scale data sets.

• Developing predictive and prescriptive models to support renewable energy planning, demand forecasting, and grid integration.

• Applying machine learning techniques to improve system performance, energy efficiency, and predictive maintenance.

• Collaborating with data engineers to design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures for efficient data processing.

• Communicating findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations, reports, and presentations.

• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, data science methodologies, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on renewable energy.

• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years as a Data Scientist, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of renewable energy systems, including solar PV, wind, and energy storage.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools and libraries such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
