The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside a highly reputable Managed Service Provider who delivers fully integrated real estate, facilities and technology solutions for data centre owners, occupiers and investors across the globe.

Job title: Data Centre Shift Technician

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Shift patterns : 6 days on 4 days off (6am-2pm) (2pm-10pm) (10pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities

Perform PPMs and Service Repairs on Critical Data Centre Systems (UPS, SBM, PDU, Generators, ATS, STS, Chillers, CRAH, AHU, Humidifiers, Building Controls etc.)

Management of Contractors PPMs and Service Repairs on Critical Data Centre Systems, all associated administrative duties,

Carry out Isolation, Earthing and Reinstatement of Critical Data Centre Electrical and Mechanical equipment and systems as and when required.

Read, review and amend Data Centre Electrical / Mechanical system drawings.

Perform and Manage BMS monitoring and carry out primary response to Critical & Non-Critical Alarms whilst on shift. Must perform diagnostic of alarms, generate RCA escalate, instigate repairs and process accordingly when they occur.

Monitor and Perform Customer requests 24x7x365 and escalate when required as per escalation procedure.

Operate, inspect and maintain Emergency Power Generation and UPS equipment; determine systems are functioning as per design, and that maintenance is performed in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and or policy and procedure.

Write, Review, Dry-Run and Modify MOP’s, SSP’s and SOP’s to reduce Human Error and ensure 100% uptime of the site.

Perform Reactive / Remedial works as raised on ticketing system on all Critical Equipment and building infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will be living in or local to Amsterdam, Netherlands or have a valid EU passport. Dutch language skills are also desirable
