Responsibilities: As a Data Analyst specializing in renewable energy, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting data to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large-scale data sets related to renewable energy generation, efficiency, and performance.

  • Developing data models and algorithms to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in energy data.

  • Conducting exploratory data analysis and data visualization to communicate insights and trends effectively.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations for improving energy generation, efficiency, and grid integration.

  • Developing and maintaining data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights.

  • Conducting ad-hoc analysis and research projects to support the development of renewable energy strategies and initiatives.

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in renewable energy technologies, industry trends, and data analysis techniques.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on renewable energy.

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the renewable energy sector.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, along with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

  • Familiarity with renewable energy systems, including solar PV, wind, and energy storage.

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.

  • Experience with data visualization tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.

  • Knowledge of SQL and database management is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
