The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communications Consultant to join our client's dynamic team in China. As a Communications Consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and impact in the field of carbon reduction and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support the organization’s goals and initiatives.
Create engaging and informative content for a variety of channels, including social media, press releases, newsletters, and the organization’s website.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and partners to increase coverage and awareness of the organization’s work.
Monitor and analyze media coverage, and provide recommendations for enhancing the organization’s public image and outreach.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency and effectiveness in messaging and branding.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, media relations, or public relations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Strong understanding of the media landscape in China and internationally.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
