The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communications Consultant to join our client's dynamic team in China. As a Communications Consultant, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance the organization's visibility and impact in the field of carbon reduction and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to support the organization’s goals and initiatives.

  • Create engaging and informative content for a variety of channels, including social media, press releases, newsletters, and the organization’s website.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and partners to increase coverage and awareness of the organization’s work.

  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, and provide recommendations for enhancing the organization’s public image and outreach.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistency and effectiveness in messaging and branding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in communications, media relations, or public relations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.

  • Strong understanding of the media landscape in China and internationally.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to the organization’s mission.
