Job Title: Offshore Wind Commissioning Manager
Location: Germany
Contract: 6-12 month contract with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: €55-€60 per hour (depending on experience)
Our client, a leading Offshore Wind Developer in Germany, is seeking an experienced Offshore Wind Commissioning Manager to join their team on a 6-12 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning and testing of offshore wind turbines and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the commissioning and testing of offshore wind turbines and ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and project specifications
Manage and coordinate the activities of commissioning teams, including contractors and subcontractors
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
Ensure that project costs are managed within budget and identify areas where cost savings can be made
Participate in project planning and scheduling activities as required
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including project management, clients, and contractors
Ensure that all commissioning documentation is maintained and up-to-date
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore wind commissioning or a related field
Strong knowledge of offshore wind turbine commissioning and testing techniques, procedures, and safety practices
Experience managing commissioning teams, including contractors and subcontractors
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Fluent in English and German
