Green Recruitment Company are excited to be partnering with a leading independent power producer (IPP) at the forefront of Australia’s energy transition. Our mission is to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy solutions to drive a sustainable future. We specialize in the development, financing, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

They're looking to add a Commercial Manager who will be responsible for driving multiple workstreams to ensure successful pipeline growth and delivery of projects.

Your role:

• Lead or support commercial workstreams related to renewable energy development, such as PPA negotiations and commercial structuring

• Lead financing processes for Australian projects

• Lead joint development and/or partnership and/or acquisition transactions to build the project pipeline

• Lead divestment processes for Australian projects where applicable

• Support project development workstreams, ensuring projects are developed to meet project finance/investment requirements

Your profile

• At least 7+ years working across Renewable Energy and Infrastructure projects

• Have recently operated in a Commercial capacity with a background in finance, development and/or legal

• Have led a renewable energy transaction to financial close

• A passion for the sector and a desire to work within a small but collaborative team

• Strong preference for someone who has worked client-side within another Developer or IPP

This role would suit someone with a well-rounded Commercial background with exposure to finance, development and legal disciplines in support of successfully executing renewable energy projects, that would like the opportunity to work within a small agile team that is already having a big impact.
