Job description
Job Title: Commercial Finance Associate
Industry Sector: Renewable Energy
Job Type: Permanent
Salary:£70,000 + bonus (up to 30%)
Location: London with home working
Job Role:
Support the Investment Team with research and business information to assess and monitor budget performance
Provide in-depth, detailed analysis and reporting to aid key decision making processes
Manage the 3-year plan process for the business and update senior management on progress
Formulate, maintain, and implement key actions from the 3-year plan
Act as a bridge between the finance, infrastructure, and asset management teams within the business
Produce monthly reporting backs to Senior Management
Analyze the performance of the Investment team based on sales and fees
Conduct regular analysis of the company’s performance in comparison to competitors, and regular research of new opportunities in the market
Key Skills Required:
Ability to work independently without being explicitly given tasks to complete
Pro-active and enthusiastic
Excellent communication skills to work with individuals across the business, including senior leadership
Efficient time management skills to manage various tasks
Experience
Full ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualification
Excellent in Excel – strong understanding of financial models is desirable
Demonstrable experience in a commercial setting
