Position Overview:
My client is in search of a dedicated and seasoned Commercial Asset Manager to join our team. As the Commercial Asset Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the financial performance of our investments in renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Asset Portfolio Optimization: Manage and enhance the financial performance of our portfolio of renewable energy assets, encompassing wind, solar, and battery storage projects.
Commercial Oversight: Ensure seamless alignment and coordination among various departments, including Investment, Development, Operations, Finance, and Controlling, with the aim of maximizing the commercial viability of our assets.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses, including assessments of ROI, cost-benefit analyses, and thorough budget reviews to identify opportunities for asset improvement and revenue growth.
Contract Administration: Take charge of overseeing and managing commercial contracts, including diligent tracking of critical milestones, deadlines, and financial disbursements.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and evaluate potential risks affecting asset performance and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Reporting: Produce and present comprehensive financial and operational reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including investors and regulatory authorities.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, proactively addressing any deviations and implementing cost-saving measures.
Asset Enhancement: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to formulate and execute strategies aimed at enhancing asset performance and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, providing them with regular updates on asset performance and promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
Strong financial expertise and analytical skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
Proficiency in both German and English at a business level.
