The Green Recruitment Company are working in partnership with a leading renewable energy company focused on innovative technologies and AI. The company explore solutions in storage, demand-side response, virtual PPA's etc. The companies ambition is to revolutionise the energy industry for good. 

 

They are looking to hire a Project Engineer to manage the full process of integrating their technology across their clients portfolios. You’ll develop projects from inception through to completion, managing resources, maintaining high standards and stakeholders’ expectations. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out feasibility studies for new technical innovations and products
  • Draw up plans using computer assisted engineering design software
  • Estimate material and labour costs, while coordinating frameworks with contractors
  • Modify PLC software for site-specific applications, working closely with EICA professionals
  • Test and commission Limejump systems using data analysis and diagnostic tools
  • Ensure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations, promoting awareness across the team as a subject matter expert
  • Attend Client meetings, writing reports and giving feedback of findings to relevant teams to support smooth teamwork across the business
  • Contribute to team and wider business planning, providing insight on site-specific matters
  • Continuously develop your skills in technical engineering and customer service, while promoting Limejump’s capabilities
  • Prepare for and support toolbox talks, promoting safe and aligned teamwork

 

Essential Skills:

  • Engineering apprenticeship and qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 in electrical Installation
  • IT skills including Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience in either Somachine or Unity Pro
  • Full Driving UK driving license
