Join a global consultancy company that boasts a comprehensive track record of working with stakeholders across all aspects of the greenfield and brownfield development of renewables projects. With a focus on acquiring new business your role as Business Manager/Principal Consultant will be to foster positive relationships with new and existing stakeholders while acting as the conduit between clients and the technical team. The ideal candidate will have determination and drive to build out the commercial pipeline in existing and emerging markets in the renewables space.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and grow relationships with existing clients utilising your own network of contacts in the renewables sector

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and leverage relationships within your own network to effectively build out new business within the pipeline

  • Provide technical advisory on Solar PV, Wind, and Energy Storage in support of new project development and acquisition across the Australian Market

  • Liaise with clients on business operations, P&L, and commercial exposure across different renewables technologies

  • Drive strategic business expansion, M&A, revenue growth, contracts negotiation, as well as manage due diligence projects

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering.

  • 10 years of relevant consultancy experience

  • Ability to liaise with regulators, government entities, and stakeholders is necessary

  • Demonstrated track record of working on a range of greenfield renewables projects

  • An existing network of contacts within the Australian renewables market to compliment existing and new work in the pipeline

  • Demonstrated strengths in negotiation to positively influence outcomes and decisions

  • Ability to think strategically and laterally with an emphasis on commercial acumen
