Job description
The Green Recruitment Company have been exclusively engaged by a global leader in the development of innovative technologies and solutions, in search of a passionate and driven Commercial/Business Development Manager to be at the forefront of the Hydrogen Fuel Cell revolution.
With a demo site already established abroad, the client is now setting up a brand new team, to launch their Energy Management System comprising of market-ready renewable energy & battery systems, coupled with their new fuel cell solutions. As the Commercial/Business Development Manageryou'll utilise your entrepreneurial business development experience to start up their UK business while having support from colleagues abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish business partnerships across the entire hydrogen value chain (H2 Supplier, Engineering Company, Maintenance Company, etc.)
Be involved in project development with UK government/authorities & B2B potential customers
Identify, select and engage in the projects that are under development by local developers/investors.
Take responsibility for managing and monitoring budget.
Develop and execute overall business plans and strategy to promote new, hydrogen fuel cell solutions.
Prepare and deliver techno-commercial promotion materials to customers and partners.
Lead on how to effectively promote the businesses project portfolio.
Collaborate with the legal team, in getting JV’s & partnerships agreed.
Plan and execute PR activity to align with customers
Requirements:
Demonstrated track record in Business Development.
Ability to negotiate at all levels within Government bodies and our Customers
Collaborative in attitude & approach, including working closely with international teams.
Entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity to drive things to fruition.
Ability to build the business practice and management skills while paying a high priority to compliance.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
Strong analytical skills to assess data and prepare reports, both quantitative and qualitative
Creating & aligning new strategy to generate leads
Additional, desirable:
Experience in the Energy Industry (Oil & Gas, EPC) and possibly hydrogen supply chain.
Previously worked in a startup situation of this size and nature
Ability to travel within the UK and Europe
Previous budget and business plan management
Able to work both alone and as part of a team
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
Continuously learning and developing with the ability to adapt to changes promptly and effectively
