​Business Development Director - Renewable Energy & Energy Storage, LATAM

The Green Recruitment Company is proud to partner with a prominent Chinese EPC contractor to appoint a Business Development Director specializing in Renewable Energy & Energy Storage for the LATAM region. This strategic role is based in Colombia and offers the chance to spearhead growth initiatives across one of the most dynamic and burgeoning markets for renewable energy in the world.

Role Overview:

As the Business Development Director, you will lead the expansion of our client's renewable energy and energy storage portfolio throughout the LATAM region. Your strategic vision and leadership will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships, and establishing a significant market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute business development strategies across the LATAM region to enhance market penetration and revenue growth in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.

• Cultivate strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, partners, and clients, to facilitate business opportunities and collaborations.

• Analyze market trends, regulatory policies, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities.

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy implementation, proposal development, and project execution.

• Represent the company at regional and international forums, conferences, and networking events to bolster its market presence and industry leadership.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in business development, particularly within the renewable energy and energy storage industries.

• In-depth understanding of the LATAM renewable energy market, including regulatory environments, market dynamics, and key players.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth strategies, securing deals, and achieving business objectives.

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Fluent in Spanish and Mandarin to effectively engage with local teams and Chinese headquarters.

Location:

This position is based in Colombia, with responsibilities covering the entire LATAM region, necessitating travel and engagement with diverse markets and cultures.
