Job description

​Great opportunity for a Business Developer to lead a new division in the Italian market and expand the client's solar PV portfolio. 

The Role

  • Independently develop large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects
  • Identify and secure (through lease agreements or purchases) land in favourable locations
  • Secure permits and licences for construction and operation of the projects
  • Secure electricity network connections
  • Apply for relevant subsidies
  • Identify and acquire projects in development and/or establish partnerships
  • Evaluate project strengths and risks
  • Prepare investment proposals
  • Report to senior management
  • Create and monitor development budget and programs
  • Report regarding project status, feasibility, project risks and budgets
 

The Individual

  • Proven experience with project development, preferably with large-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects
  • Understanding of technical and financial feasibility of projects
  • Master or bachelor degree in a relevant area of expertise
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken) 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, creative and entrepreneurial, go-getter, positive attitude, performs under pressure
  • Able and willing to travel on a regular basis within southern Italy rolling
