Job description

The Role:

  • Identifying, analysing, prioritising, and entering new countries/markets for ground mount utility scale PV power plants within Europe
  • Leading the initial feasibility prospect studies in new markets for the development of solar projects
  • Representing greentech at fairs, seminars, and conferences in order to build relationships with local PV developers and other potential business partners
  • Conducting and commissioning early commercial, technical, legal, tax and financial evaluations of PV projects
  • Supporting management in the negotiation and execution of agreements with local developers in new markets
  • Managing due diligence processes and supporting the transaction structuring
  • Implementing project development and controlling processes in new markets
  • Evaluating new business cases on a commercial level and supporting marketing activities

The Individual:

  • 3+ years of experience in business development or project development of utility scale solar energy projects
  • Successful track record of projects and a good network within the European solar industry, focus Mediterranean
  • Commercially skilled and experienced with licencing and permitting procedures
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the overall development team
  • Extensive project management experience
  • Excellent English language skills, German and other languages would be an advantage
