Job description
Job title: Bid Support Analyst
Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
TGRC has a new role for a Bid Support Analyst to ensure robust internal bid processes & governance structures.

The Green Recruitment Company is working with an independent B2B energy supplier committed to providing energy supply and Net-Zero solutions to industrial and commercial consumers. Reporting to the Bid Manager in Direct Sales, this is a new role that will be fundamental to the success of the team, driving the new business agenda in an evolving competitor landscape.
Essential functions of the job:
Create, develop and manage comprehensive commercial material & documentation to support the sale of power, gas and energy solutions to industrial and commercial consumers.
Establish & maintain an evolving Bid Library, creating a central resource of relevant material, tools, documents and commercial learnings from across the business.
Ensure robust internal bid processes & governance structures, including compliance with the Manual of Authorities (MoA).
Work with the wider team to review incoming tenders and bespoke requests, ensuring requirements are understood and key risks can be identified and mitigated.
Build strong relationships across internal teams, including Sales, Pricing, Legal, Operations, and Marketing to ensure timely, accurate and high-quality bids and commercial material.
Assist with the continual development of new innovative solutions that support our diversified portfolio, ensuring a market-leading approach and growth of revenue stream.
Assist with wider team tasks, including sales support activity, where required, e.g. tender set-up steps, system updates & team reporting.
Skills required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A talent for translating complex products and processes into clear and professional commercial material and documentation.
Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on consistency and accuracy
Ability to balance commercial demands with best practices and robust processes & controls – ensuring positive business outcomes alongside an optimal customer experience.
A dependable individual who can work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders.
An innovative mindset with the ability and desire to deliver additional value.
High level of people skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and a collaborative team player.
Adaptable, creative and customer-centric.
Comfortable with taking ownership and proposing a change to management & other stakeholders.
Experience required:
Several years experience working with and developing commercial material – e.g. product documentation, tender responses and contract agreements.
A detailed understanding of UK energy supply products & processes, especially complex “Flexible” deals, is likely to be an advantage, but other relevant experience will be considered.
A proven track record of enhancing business processes, tools and materials.
Proven ability to develop new products and solutions across various business functions.
Demonstrable experience in similar roles with tangible delivery and results.
