​The Green Recruitment has partnered with a leading Investment Fund with more than 50GW under development for a an experienced BESS and Green H2 Development Manager to join their team in Madrid.

Responsibilities:

• Permitting management and Technical Business Development of BESS and Green H2 projects.

• Coordinate and liaison with stakeholders.

• Coordination and hybridation of projects under development.

• Arrange site visits and meetings whilst delivering excellent community engagement at each stage of a project.

• Lead end-to-end project development activities for Onshore Wind Greenfield projects, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.

• Manage project risks and opportunities, proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, legal, and environmental specialists to ensure seamless project progression.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in environmental science, environmental management, or a related field.

• More than 2-3 years in Business Development and/or environmental and permitting roles within the renewable energy sector.

• Profound knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations and permitting processes.

• Robust project management and organizational skills.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in both independent and collaborative work settings.
