The Role

We are in search of a seasoned AVP of Asset Management to lead our client's asset management team in Shanghai. In this strategic role, you will oversee the performance and optimization of a substantial portfolio of Solar PV assets, ensuring operational excellence and financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the asset management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Solar PV assets, from acquisition and operation to maintenance and decommissioning.

• Implement strategies to maximize the financial performance of assets, ensuring they meet or exceed targets.

• Conduct comprehensive performance analysis, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

• Develop and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders, including investors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in asset management, with a strong background in the renewable energy sector, specifically Solar PV.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.

• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Mandarin.

• A genuine passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving sustainability.
