Job description
TGRC is excited to have partnered with a Tier 1 private equity fund, in search of a Korean-speaking Associate/Analyst, Infrastructure Investments to asset manage their investments in Korea and be based in their rapidly expanding team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential infrastructure investment opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on sectors such as energy, transportation, utilities, and social infrastructure.
Assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial analysis, due diligence, and risk assessment, to support investment decision-making.
Support the origination and execution of infrastructure transactions, including sourcing deals, conducting preliminary assessments, and participating in deal negotiations.
Build and maintain complex financial models to analyse investment opportunities, assess project economics, and evaluate investment returns.
Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and stress testing to assess the impact of key assumptions and variables on investment outcomes.
Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports summarizing key findings, recommendations, and investment thesis for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics in the infrastructure sector, providing insights and analysis to support investment decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, Master's) preferred.
Fluency in Korean (both written and verbal) is required; proficiency in English is also essential for effective communication within the global team and with English-speaking stakeholders.
2-5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure finance, or related fields with a proven track record of leading execution on infrastructure and energy deals.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for infrastructure investing, with a desire to learn and grow in the field of infrastructure investments.
