Responsibilities:

  • Manage Utility Invoices: Receive, log, and enter invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Data Management: Chase meter reads, cleanse data, and maintain accurate internal databases.

  • Debt Resolution: Assist in resolving supplier debts and reconcile statement of accounts.

  • Query Management: Address queries promptly, ranging from utility invoices to site-related issues.

  • Disconnection and Site Closures: Handle disconnection letters, close accounts, and manage final meter reads.

  • Change of Tenancies: Collaborate with the COT team and monitor progress on change of tenancies.

  • Reporting: Prepare accurate client reports and tenant recharges within specified timelines.

  • Travel: Attend meetings at various UK locations as required.

Essential Experience:

  • Prior experience in the Utilities sector or energy bureau team.

  • Effective collaboration within a team and communication with clients and their teams.

Desirable Experience:

  • Familiarity with energy management platforms (e.g., Optima, Systemslink).

  • Visionary with the ability to develop complex strategies and solutions.

About Us:

The Energy team works closely with the ESG and Sustainability team to provide energy bureau and procurement services to a diverse portfolio. With approximately 70 team members, the team operates in four smaller teams, including Client Management, Operations, Procurement, and Data Support. Client Managers are strategically located in Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Cardiff.
