THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Excellent opportunity for a trilingual candidate with strong asset management, financial reporting or O&M experience to join an international developer and operator of solar PV projects. 

As a member of their Asset Management team, you will play a crucial role managing all commercial aspects for a portfolio of solar PV plants in the Netherlands and France. As well as ensuring these assets are functional from financial close to operation, you will be actively liaising with financial institutions, legal advisors, service providers and O&M teams. 

THE ROLE: 

• Providing financial management services, including the project financial model
• Preparation of annual statutory accounts (inclusing liaison with external auditors) to meet all regulatory requirements 
• Preparing quarterly management accounts for relevant projects 
• Forecasting cash flows and ensuring compliance with relevant arrangements therein
• Overseeing the accounting tasks performed by outsourced local accountants
• Maintaining the minute book and statutory registers
• Procuring, obtaining and maintaining relevant insurances
• Management of community and public relations for respective assets
• Liaising with Technical Asset Managers to ensure the effective supervision, co-ordination with, and monitoring of the operation and maintenance services 
• Providing general commercial support to ensure compliance with the terms of the Project Agreements, including reviewing the relevant agreements;
• Management of relationships with landlords and tenants;
• Liaising and co-ordinating with the relevant regulatory authorities and monitoring compliance and procurement of third party legal advice as required
• Recommend any amendments to the financial model the Manager considers necessary in accordance with the terms of all Project Agreements
• Managing any disputes or referrals to any relevant experts which may arise or be made from time to time in relation to the Project
• Liaising with the Data Analysis team to calculate and account for any bonuses and / or liquidated damages under the O&M Contract as they arise
• Preparing monthly and quarterly generation / availability statistics vs. operating budget reports
• Working with the Technical Asset Manager to provide quarterly Health, Safety & Environment reporting

THE INDIVIDUAL: 

• Fluent in English, Dutch and French 
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (business, finance, accounting etc.) 
• Experience in Asset or Stakeholder management 
• Exposure to fincial concepts such as performance analysis (including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow modelling) 
• Basic knowledge of solar PV plant operation and maintenance for liaison with technical asset managers (HSE knowledge is an advantage) 
• Experience of dealing with contractors 
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant IT systems.
