My client are a leading offshore wind developer; they are currently seeking an Asset Manager to join their team in Paris on a permanent basis.

In your role as Asset Manager of Offshore Wind, you will be involved in the support function of the asset lifecycle. You would take on the responsibility of day-to-day commercial management. Ideally, the company are looking for someone with experience in the offshore wind sector, and a passion for renewable energies.

You will be operating mainly in these three key areas:

1) Asset management

2) M&A Advisory

3) Project management for offshore tenders and proposals

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day commercial management of offshore wind farm
Monitor performance of the asset against defined key performance indicators.
Tracking commercial aspects/risks and where required, developing strategies and recommendations.
Responsible for monthly reporting and managing of the P&L performance of the project, CAPEX & OPEX budgets etc.
Managing commercial risks and obligations under existing wind farm agreements and contracts, e.g. insurance claims, contract disputes, leases and warranties.
Developing strategies, including the provision of cost/benefit and risk analysis.
Commercial input into O&M contract renewals.
Undertaking business planning and reforecasting as required, risk identification and management of the commercial aspects of risks.

Requirements:

Education – Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management, Finance, Law or other relevant discipline
Experience in asset management in the offshore wind sector is ideal
Strong knowledge of the offshore regulatory system and core aspects of offshore wind farm generation equipment
Experience of working in a joint venture structure, relationship management, knowledge of M&A transactions
Stakeholder engagement experience
Strong knowledge of French energy market
Project financing experience
Knowledge of the offshore transmission regulatory regime
Must be fluent in French and English
