Job description

The Opportunity 

A rare opportunity to join an international renewable energy company (IPP) who develop and build and develop both wind and solar projects. The client are looking for a Technical Portfolio Manager to join their team in Bristol. 

The Role

  • Leading the resolution of specific technical and contractual issues on sites as they arise, gaining agreement for solutions from investors as required and driving the solutions to a conclusion 
  • Proactively identifying and pursuing technical and contractual optimisation opportunities across the Belltown portfolio
  •  Working closely with the specific Asset Managers and Portfolio Managers responsible for the day-to-day management of these sites
  •  Providing technical and contractual expertise and support to the Head of Asset Management and the rest of the Asset Management team
  •  Supporting the Head of Asset Management and the rest of the Asset Management team in communicating technical and contractual matters to investors
  •  Attend and contribute to industry workgroups and forums in order to develop knowledge of best practice to incorporate into portfolio improvements
  •  Contributing to investor reporting as required
  •  Conducting site visits and inspections as required

  •  Shares knowledge, skills and experience with colleagues with the aim of developing the technical knowledge of the asset management team
  •  Flexible in their approach to work, adapting to changing demands and conditions
