Job description

Our client's Energy Storage and Optimisation Lifecycle Management team is looking for a (Sr.) Technical Expert in order to strengthen our global Technical Services for Energy Storage customers. The (Sr.) Technical Expert supports the customers by improving the technical and the operational performance of our products.

What will you be doing

As a SENIOR TECHNICAL EXPERT, you will monitor battery sites and provide remote support to customers and Expertise Centers.

The ideal candidate will have an Engineering degree and will have 5+ year experience in the electrical field.

As a SENIOR TECHNICAL EXPERT, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring of all battery Sites across the globe
  • Provide Remote L2 Support to Customers and Expertise Centers.
  • Use proprietary software to remotely evaluate and trouble-shoot systems.
  • Coordinate with Field Service Engineers on Warranty Claims and notify Warranty Claims Division
  • Record and compile data for analysis and assist in related assessment and preparation of reports
  • Coordinate system updates with Software team and customers
  • Respond to Technical support requests when issues are reported to Helpdesk
  • Document all customer requests, and repairs performed
  • Notify Customers of status of repairs, Warranty claims, software updates etc.
  • Provide Energy Storage training to customers and internal colleagues

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • A broad understanding and a deep knowledge of electrical hardware and electronics.
  • The successful candidate will be familiar with energy storage systems or have experience in a related electrical field.
  • Candidate must be passionate about energy storage and clean energy solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a global, innovative and customer-driven organization working with high level technologies.
  • Engineering degree preferred
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a related electrical field
