​Our client, a leading renewables investment fund, is looking for a European Speaking Analyst to join their investment team who will report to the Investment Manager / Investment Director due to exciting growth within the company and expansion into new markets.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• +1 year in investment or finance

• Fluent / Professional capability in either French, German or Italian

• Obtained at least a 2:1 Bachelors degree (or equivalent)

• Financial/investment focused background

• Ability in building, modifying and carrying out scenario analysis in financial models

• High level of MS Excel and financial modelling

• Analytical ability with excellent attention to detail

• Clear & concise written & verbal communication

• Able to effectively work on multiple competing tasks and meet tight deadlines

• Experience working in the renewable energy sector is preferred

• Understanding of financial KPIs, investment lifecycle and renewable energy would be beneficial

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Modelling and Analysis:

• Develop, manage and analyse financial models to assess investments in renewables projects

• Interpret, share and review modelling outputs with other team members

• Assist the team with data analysis to support investment decisions

• Undertake quarterly, semi-annual and annual valuations of fund portfolios; and

• Contribute to, and eventually manage and review, project and fund valuation models.

Investment Support:

• Assessing the financial viability and potential returns of different investment opportunities;

• Identify and develop new business opportunities that align with the fund

• Conducting financial analysis and due diligence on potential M&A transactions

• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of existing investments;

Business Development:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities,

• Support analysis of optimisation opportunities for the existing portfolio;

• Follow and report on sector news and industry developments;

• Investigate and research new markets;

• Analyse and report on emerging technologies; and

• Carry out competitor analysis and keep track of market events.
