Job description

​The role:

  • Working as part of either the Onshore Wind, Solar or Energy Storage teams

  • Delivering projects to a high standard to ensure the utmost satisfaction of clients and an outstanding quality of deliverables, including:

    • Technical Due Diligence for lenders, investors, vendors, etc.

    • Owner’s Engineer, supporting developers and owners through design, procurement and construction phases

    • Analysis services such as energy yield assessment, performance analysis, etc. 

  • Leading on proposal writing, supporting business development activities and representing

  • Managing project key performance indicators, including budgets

  • Managing project teams to ensure optimal delivery of projects

  • Support in the positive development of our people through mentoring, training, etc.

  • Develop suite of renewables products to lead in new markets and new (associated) technologies, building new systems through R&D to give a competitive advantage

  • Collaborate with, support and evolve with other businesses, teams and staff, networking at all levels within the company, as well as with external bodies and acting as a representative at industry conferences, seminars, events, etc.

  • Ensure that projects operate in accordance high health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of staff, sub-contractors and any other third parties who may be impacted by our work.

  • Ensure project work and technical quality standards are maintained through QA/QC processes and with a commitment to driving continuous improvement internally

The person:

  • Experience 4 c.5+ years of experience and passion for onshore wind, solar, or energy storage

  • Qualified to at least Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level in Engineering or relevant discipline

  • A successful track record of project managing multi-disciplinary teams

  • Functional knowledge of how renewables projects are developed, constructed, operated

  • Practical understanding of the economics of renewable energy projects and the mechanisms by which they are financed

  • Strong technical knowledge, including players, markets, technology, warranties, etc.
